Tommy Fury told Jake Paul to beat Anderson Silva tonight so that he can ‘smash the front of his face in’ next year.

Taking to Instagram, Fury said: “This is a very, very special good luck message to my best bud Jake Paul. Make sure you get the job done tonight mate so I can see you next year and smash all the front of your face in.

“Take it easy guys, may the best man win. Good luck, God bless.”

The pair have been booked to face each other on two occasions to no avail. In December, their fight was called off after Fury was forced to pull out with a rib injury sustained in camp. Then, ahead of their August encounter, the bout agreement was terminated when TNT was denied entry to the United States – where the event was set to take place.

Both men were also recently seen seemingly agreeing to the contest over FaceTime in a video uploaded by Paul’s promoter Most Valuable Promotions. Paul was heard saying: “Tommy, let’s make the fight happen buddy. Let’s make it happen.”

To which, Fury responded: “I’ll see you soon.”

Before the fight takes place though, Paul will have to beat former UFC middleweight champion Silva later tonight. They square off at the Desert Diamond Arena, Glendale, Arizona in an eight-round 187lb catchweight bout.
