Kate Middleton to take lower profile due to children's plans amid 'tense time'

One of the key reasons for the reduction in their schedules is so they can spend more time with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, it has been reported. Since becoming Prince and Princess of Wales last month the royal couple have been very busy attending engagements.

They have visited Scotland and Northern Ireland with Kate visiting a maternity unit in Surrey.

Meanwhile William visited St George’s Park the home of the England Football Teams in Staffordshire.

Last week royal couple were in East London at the Copperbox Arena for an engagement with their sporting programme Coach Core.

However, the next few weeks are likely to be focused around their children as the trio are currently on half term from their new school Lambrook close to their new Windsor home.

The Wales children broke up for the holidays last Friday and don’t have to return to Lambrook until Monday, October 31.

In the past, the Duke and Duchess have limited their appearances during school holidays in order to spend precious time with their children.

It is believed that in October 2021 the family travelled to Jordan for an exotic holiday.

Royal fans enjoyed a glimpse of the trip as a family photo taken in the middle eastern country featured on the Cambridges’ Christmas card last year.

However, another friend added that despite the difficult start the family are now enjoying living in Windsor with the children able to “freely play” in open parkland.

They said: “They love that the kids can go out on their bikes and cycle around the estate, and they are all really excited to meet everyone. It’s a real little community.”

The family moved from Kensington Palace in central London to the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate.
