A Ukrainian News24 journalist reported from the subway: “While the enemy is launching missiles at the capital, Ukrainian songs are playing in the subway. Unbreakable spirit.”

Pupils joined the chorus from their classrooms, as they appeared calm despite the ongoing launch of missiles.

According to the Kyiv Independent, this is “the hardest missile attack the city has seen in months.”

The Ukrainian capital was targeted by at least four missiles on Monday morning, the first strikes in several months since the Russian retreat from the region, in response to an attack on the Kerch bridge linking Russia and Crimea.
