In their joint interview with OK! Magazine, Mollie said she had a “tiny inkling” he was going to do it after they shopped for rings together.
A year on from the moment, she added: “We wanted to enjoy that special time together, just the two of us, for a while.”
Alex went on to say he didn’t want to spend his life with anyone else.
The pair got together back in October 2019 when she was auditoning for a performing arts college in the North West.
