All the bedrooms had new doors, new grey carpets and white and grey painted walls.

By taking down the rear walls and extending the ceiling height in two of the bedrooms, they’ve increased their size.

Presenter Martel Maxwell, who was sharing the renovation’s details said the place “looked stunning”. She added: “This newly renovated bungalow just screams luxury!”

Tom said the property is being targeted at families and have aimed to create a “high-end” finish.

Tom oversaw the project and a builder came to carry out the changes. Steve managed the financial side of the project as well as overseeing his own coach company.

The project was a “success” but ended up taking the pair eight weeks longer than they planned. The project stretched to 20 weeks rather than 12 weeks.

They also overspent, spending just under £100,000 as opposed to their original £70,000.
