Firefighters have been called to a blaze at a unit on the Spencer Industrial Estate in Buckley, Flintshire. Dramatic pictures show plumes of thick black smoke rising from the roof of a building.
Gallons of water is being sprayed by emergency crews from a towering crane.
Around a dozen firefighters are believed to be at the scene.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) has urged residents to keep their windows and doors shut.
In a statement NWFRS said: “We are currently dealing with a building fire at a unit on Liverpool Rd, Spencer Industrial Estate, Buckley.
“We are advising local residents to close doors & windows, and asking traffic to avoid the area until further notice.”
The Welsh Ambulance Service has also been alerted the incident and medics are on standby.
At this stage there are no reports of any injuries.
