Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has revealed where his future might lie beyond Euro 2020, amid links with vacant roles at Tottenham and Everton. Spurs are looking for a replacement for Jose Mourinho after sacking him in April; whilst Everton are looking to appoint someone to succeed Carlo Ancelotti, who recently re-joined Real Madrid.
Reports previously stated that Tottenham were in talks with Martinez, who is currently preparing for the European Championships with Belgium this summer.
Since being named Red Devils boss in 2016, Martinez guided them to a World Cup semi-final in 2018, before losing 1-0 to France.
He has reportedly already told those close to him that he intends to return to club management after the tournament.
And the former Wigan boss, who won the FA Cup as boss of the Latics, has stated that he is not necessarily tied down to Belgium beyond the summer.
“I came to Belgium for two years [in 2016] so whenever you ask about future planning, I’m the wrong man, I’m sure I’m going to give you the wrong answer,” he told the Times.

As well as Martinez and Conte, there has been plenty of speculation regarding a potential sensational return for Mauricio Pochettino.
But it’s understood that he is expected to remain at Paris Saint-Germain despite failing to win the Ligue 1 title.
As for Everton, they might look at a reappointment of their own, with rumours that they could look to bring Martinez back to Goodison Park.
The Spaniard was Everton boss from 2013 until 2016 but was sacked with the Toffees 12th with one game remaining.
This is despite Martinez guiding them to the semi-finals of both domestic cups that season.
Speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window podcast, Duncan Castles says Kenwright would prefer to see another former Toffees boss David Moyes or Martinez return to the club.
“You have Bill Kenwright, the previous majority shareholder of the club, who’s still on the board, pushing for David Moyes or Roberto Martinez,” he said.
“They’re two people he has had as Everton managers in the past and who, as one person who’s very familiar with Everton’s operation says, candidates that Bill always pushes for the job.”
