Sharon Leahy posted a photo of a saucepan she had used to cook pasta.
Alongside it, she wrote: “Any tips? How did I burn pasta?????!!!!”
The post got lots of interest and there were several suggestions for how to clean the pan.
Edna Topping offered: “Pop a dishwasher tablet into it, add boiling water and leave it until morning.”
Carol Rutherford reiterated this idea: “Dishwasher tablet boiling water leave overnight,” and Kay Ball replied to Carol’s comment saying: “This is my go to every time and it does work.’
If you want to try using a dishwasher tablet to clean a burnt sauce pan, all you need to do is boil the kettle, pour into the saucepan and add one dishwasher tablet.
