A federal judge has confirmed a hearing for oral arguments about Prince Andrew’s motion to dismiss Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit on January 4, 2022. The year ahead sees Her Majesty celebrate 70 years since ascending to the Throne.
Ms Giuffre launched a civil case against the Duke of York in New York and claimed he sexually assaulted her three times.
The Duke of York has repeatedly denied the allegations.
On Wednesday, a US judge said a civil trial could take place late next year.
Ms Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies said he would seek to depose between eight and 12 people including two British citizens.
