'Lisa, she's gay!' Harry Styles helps nervous fan come out to their mother on tour in Milwaukee

Harry Styles helped a nervous fan come out as gay to their mother while perfoming at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.   

McKinley McConnell was overjoyed when Harry spotted her by the stage waving a sign that read: ‘My mom is in section 201. Help me come out??’. 

The 27-year-old pop star agreed to make the announcement on McKinley’s behalf and shouted into his microphone ‘Lisa, she’s gay!’ to thundering applause.

In the touching video, the stadium cameras then panned to McKinley’s mother Lisa who was overwhelmed with emotion at the revelation. 

Meanwhile, Harry soaked up the emotional response in the venue as he lifted his arms up and looked to the sky while his fans screamed their support.  

Taking to Twitter, McKinley gushed her thanks to Harry, writing: ‘A moment that will actually be with me forever. 

‘Thank you for creating a safe place for me. thank you for letting me grow along side you as a fan. thank you for helping me know who i am. thank you.’

After the concert, McKinley tweeted an adorable photo of Lisa grinning while holding a Harry Styles T-shirt. 

She wrote alongside the sweet snap: ‘Everyone meet LISA!!! 

‘She is overjoyed & also wanted everyone to know she had the best time & couldn’t stop dancing tonight!!!’ 

Happy place: McKinley is a long-term Harry fan and has attended many of his concerts over the years

The heartwarming display comes after Harry dressed as Dorothy Gale from The Wizard Of Oz on Saturday. 

He sported the costume for his Harryween fancy dress party at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

The former One Direction star donned a blue and white gingham dress similar to the outfit Dorothy wears when she lands in Oz in the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

The garment also featured a white collar and red hearts while Harry also sported a pair of bright red tights and Dorothy’s famous ruby slippers.

He added to the costume with a gingham ribbon in his hair while the hitmaker also sported dramatic makeup to add to the look. 

Harry gave an energetic performance for the show where he was joined by a live band.
