‘So stupid and out of touch!’ Viewers SLAM Big Brother VIP after the reality show has the ‘tremendously stupid idea’ to waste a ‘disgusting’ amount of food while ‘people are struggling to make ends meet’
A stunt on Monday night’s premiere episode of Big Brother VIP has backfired on producers.
The Channel 7 reality TV show took the housemates’ breakfast orders, promising ‘no expense would be spared’.
However, after laying out the lavish breakfast on a table, Big Brother bizarrely decided to dump it into the garbage for no apparent reason.

Housemates like Omarosa Manigault Newman and Jessika Power were aghast at the wanton display of waste.
They watched open-mouthed as bacon, eggs, smoothies, pastries and freshly brewed coffee was tipped off the table and into the back of a trash compactor.
And viewers were outraged by the wasteful stunt, too.

‘Rather than let people who need the food come in and eat it, you just put it in a bin? So stupid and out of touch,’ wrote one disgusted fan.
Another pointed out it was particularly tone-deaf given how tough some were doing it during the Covid pandemic.
‘Clearly a waste of food…people have had it tough this year Big Brother…not cool..’.

However some were amused by the stunt, with one person tweeting, ‘Hahaha I knew it you were doing that with the food’.
