Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Tenney film night scene of SATC reboot And Just Like That… after THAT sighting of their TV kiss set off rumors Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big have split

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted filming a night scene from her Sex And The City revival And Just Like That… in New York on Wednesday.

The 56-year-old was reprising her iconic role of Carrie Bradshaw while playing opposite a new edition to the cast played by silver fox Jon Tenney.

Evidently the two were exiting a glamorous affair as they were spotted dressed to the nines emerging onto an ornate stone staircase.

Sarah Jessica lived up to Carrie’s typical fashion-conscious image by sliding her enviably trim frame into a figure-hugging white cocktail dress with black fringe.

Drawing attention to her character’s famed love of extravagant shoes, she added a pop of color to the ensemble with a shocking pair of hot pink heels with black bows.

Meanwhile Jon was classically glamorous in a navy suit as he and Sarah Jessica filmed a conversation on the staircase.

The dynamic duo set off a storm of publicity earlier this month when they were spotted filming a kiss scene in New York.

Their sighting set off a furious cycle of conjecture that the new show will see Carrie breakup with her longtime love interest Mr. Big played by Chris Noth.

After spending the series in an on-and-off romance Carrie and Big finally got married in the first Sex And The City film and remained so for the sequel.

But for months there have been rumors that And Just Like That… would show the marriage on the rocks – and some fans took the kiss with Jon as confirmation.

Over the summer some pages of the script leaked to Page Six in which Carrie is seen commiserating with friends over the state of her relationship with Big.

‘I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?’ Carrie says exasperatedly to her pals.

One of them was her closest gay friend Stanford Blatch – played by Willie Garson who tragically succumbed to pancreatic cancer last month at the age of just 57.

Chris himself has confessed to Yahoo! Finance Live that he was ‘hesitant’ to return to the role of Mr. Big until executive producer Michael Patrick King coaxed him back.

‘It was a little bit of a sort of creative negotiation because I didn’t really feel I had anything to offer in that role again. It kind of felt like I had done it,’ he said.

‘But Michael Patrick King is just an incredible writer and has incredible creative ideas. And once we got together and talked about the potential of what we could do with the character, I was all in,’ said the heartthrob.
