The Royal Collection Shop (RCS) is selling a newly released Christmas hamper for a staggering £200. The shop also offers festive tipples from the Royal cellar to purchase as gifts or to serve at dinner parties.

The grand hamper includes a vast array of yuletide favourites including mince pies, Christmas Pudding and chocolate coins.

Royal fans will also be delighted to find the hamper includes Corgi decorations, paying homage to the monarch’s love for the small dog.

“Have a very merry Christmas with festive delights and yuletide classics perfectly packed in this Luxury Christmas Hamper,” RCS says of the hamper on its website.

“From traditional mince pies, matched with a warming cup of spiced tea to be devoured on Christmas Eve with friends to a luxury selection of salted caramel chocolates and milk chocolate coins, this incredible hamper is full to the brim of your favourite Christmas treats to be enjoyed by your festive guests on Christmas Day.”

The new festive additions to the Royal shop come as fears increase surrounding shortages of Christmas items such as childrens’ toys and festive foods due to the HGV driver shortage.

Due to supply chain issues, there are now fears Christmas dinners may look different to previous years.

Turkeys are now in shorter supply than normal and sales of frozen turkeys have increased by more than 400 percent in comparison to last year, Supermarket chain Iceland has said.

In September this year, Iceland revealed the sales of the frozen Christmas staple went up 409 percent compared to the same month the year before.

Meanwhile, this follows the Prime Minister’s failure to rule out food shortages lasting until Christmas.
