Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Great Moor Street in Bolton at 9pm yesterday.
A red Audi A4 was involved in a collision with two females who were crossing the road, with the vehicle failing to stop at the scene.
A 14-year-old and a 17-year-old were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The 14-year-old was taken to hospital with life-changing pelvic and abdominal injuries which are described as “life-changing”.
She remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The 17-year-old suffered minor injuries.
